Front Step

Greetings Dear Holland Bible Church Friends!
Praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow!
It is a good summer of ministry at Front Step in Philly. Although we have cut back on our Summer Camp this year, we have focused on field trips for kids. How wonderful and invigorating it is for inner-city kids to get away from the high heat of the City.
We recently took the Front Step children and youth to Lake Nockamixon for a day of fresh air and fun! They learned to do some kayaking and fishing. They also had a great time in the big swimming pool. On the way home, they were all sleeping--worn out from a great day.
The next venture was to farms and ranches north of Lancaster County. We took the kids there last year, but the rains came and they didn't get a chance to ride horses. This summer they learned their way around a farm, helped milked cows and later got to ride horses. For most of them, it was the first time they had been on a horse---truly exciting!
These are creative ways Front Step shares the love and message of Jesus Christ. Next week, we will be holding Vacation Bible School for all the kids of the neighborhood. We are SO grateful to YOU and to HOLLAND BIBLE CHURCH for supporting this urban ministry! Young lives are coming to know Jesus as Savior and Lord because of YOUR loving prayer and support!
