Further decline of the PCUSA

Posted on August 1, 2021.

On March 1st the General Assembly Administrative Commission on Mid Councils approved the reorganization of the seven New Jersey Presbyteries into four new missional communities.  Last fall all seven presbyteries voted to approve the plan which brought together churches from as many as four presbyteries to create brand new communities.  These ecclesiastical presbyteries have new names: Presbytery For Southern New Jersey, Presbytery of Central New Jersey and Presbytery of Northeast New Jersey and Presbytery of the Highlands of New Jersey which we are now part of.  PCUSA has lost almost 500 Churches between 2015 and 2018, which is close to 220,000 members. PCUSA lost over 56000 members and 116 churches in 2020 All due to the increasing liberal polices and drifting away from biblical absolutes.                                        “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”   Isaiah 5:20
