Hurricane Relief Efforts

Missionary Flights landed in Puerto Rico on Saturday, September 30, 2017, with a plane full of over 5,000 lbs of donated disaster relief supplies. This flight allowed us to assess what the immediate needs are, first hand. On board was MFI's receptionist, Luina Ribera, who was able to reunite with some of her family members at the airport, bringing food, water, generators, and other essential items to them and so many others. After all of the distress they had been through, the passengers were relieved to have the comfort of someone to share their stories. What a blessing to give and receive such joy and relief after they had been through such turmoil.

This flight was the first of many flights MFI will take to Puerto Rico. Our efforts have continued in taking necessary supplies to the Turks and Caicos Islands. The most recent flight included 8,600 lbs of tarps and food delivered to the Salvation Army, allowing us to serve as many as possible.
