“Update from Front Step”
We are so very busy, but it is a great joy to be about the Lord's business. This morning, I was at the local grocery store buying for a family who are all sick at this time. The mother of five children asked if I would be able to get water, ginger ale, toddler pull-ups, toilet paper and some other groceries.
This is a family we have been ministering to for 4 years, they live just one block from our ministry center. Three of children (ages 11, 9 7) are part of our children's Bible quizzing program. Just last week they won a competition for Eastern Pennsylvania on the Book of Genesis. Praise God, they are learning and growing in the Lord!
This afternoon I will deliver the much needed supplies to them as they are going through this difficult time. Thanks to you and others who care, we are able to meet so many needs in the Name of Jesus! In the last month Front Step has helped our community by giving out over 15 tons of food. God is so good for us to let the light of Jesus shine while children and families are dealing with food shortages.
I do hope you are doing well! This is indeed a challenging virus and so many families are suffering.
Is everyone at Holland Bible Presbyterian doing well? Thank you again for your generosity!
May God greatly bless you as you bless others! Wes For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me............... 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
