Socialism is NOT related in any way to Christianity

Posted on May 1, 2024.

NOT related in any way to Christianity despite assertions that they're trying to do the same things in the world. Despite even pushy misuses of Scripture to convince or shame Christians into silence about Marxism's horrors & universal failures. Well, we're still going to look at Bible passages that refute various tenets of Socialism, but not this month.
This month, I sense the Spirit telling me to take this month's space with a report from the ministry to whom we send Bibles and devotionals. The ministry's name is Love Packages and the following is taken from several of their newsletters.
“We had a very successful 2023 - we shipped out 2020 tons of material. Our goal for this year is to ship 110 containers, 2200 tons. As of this writing (the April newsletter) we have already shipped out 600 tons.
After fund-raising we were able to purchase 375,000 New Testaments, 5,000 Swahili Bibles, 40,000 full Bibles, plus $50,000 worth of mixed value Bibles that were marked down as much as 90% by a Bible seller. We have already started shipping them to many nations. Now you may be thinking, if Love Packages has that many, they won’t need what I collect. Don’t think that!!! Operation World informs us that there are now over 600 million people in Africa who claim to be Christians. (editor's addition: Despite the fact that Out of the 28 countries where Christians are most persecuted in the world, 13 are African & over the past 14 years at least 52,250 Nigerian Christians have been killed by Islamists.) The number of Christians in Africa is set to double by 2050 when, if present trends continue, it is expected to be home to 1.2 billion Christians! Most of the pastors in Africa have no formal Bible college training. Most pastors have no access to a library. Study Bibles are rare and some pastors do not even have a Bible! There is phenomenal church growth in Africa, but the challenge is that over 100 million churchgoers in Africa do not have a copy of the Bible, or even a New Testament. So what we are doing - even though it sounds like a lot - is still only a drop in the bucket compared to the need” From Honduras:
“God bless all you do every day for the kingdom of God. We are training the people with the material and are giving them ideas about how they can use it effectively. We are sending people to help them during the process. We speak with the leaders of companies and universities, and ask for a 15 minute meeting to give a message of salvation and we have had almost 700 people receive Jesus. We reached 10 more schools too (&) are opening an evangelism school in our church, with the purpose of helping and training other brothers and sisters from other churches and they are doing evangelism all over the country. We did a missionary trip to El Salvador...& had more than 1000 people receive Jesus as Lord and savior. Thanks to all the people at Love Packages for such impact God is doing thru you. We are a team for Jesus. ... Keep going because in our country we need the word of the Lord impacting lives. Thanks for saving souls in Central America.”
From India:
“Mrs. V personally expressed her joy in finding the book to read and she extended her gratitude to the team at Love Packages for donating this precious book 'that changed her life.' 'I cannot find the words to express how I felt when I found this book here. I can see how brilliantly
God acted in my life and how He changed me to bring help to others,' said Mrs. V with a big smile.”
All this from devotionals, Bibles, etc. that are passed along. Mostly from the Holy Spirit, of course.                                                                                                                                          All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.                2 Timothy 3:16-17
